Hit The Pause

Sometimes in our grown-up lives, there are moments when we just need to hit the pause button, gather our thoughts, and get ourselves back on track. It's something most of us go through – feeling a bit overwhelmed every now and then. High-stress situations can make us feel like we're about to lose it. And when we're surrounded by people whose values don't quite match our own, that can add to the confusion. Major life events, like the end of a significant relationship or starting a new chapter, can also throw us off balance. These are all things that happen in life and can mess with our mental equilibrium. The way this imbalance shows up varies – from forgetting where we put our car keys and finding them in the weirdest places to questioning our own perception when others seem clueless about what's happening right in front of them.

Meeting with a therapist or a spiritual counselor who knows how our minds handle stress, loss, and tough times can give us the support we need and help us feel less alone. They can teach us techniques to clear our minds and make positive changes. Plus, they can remind us that we're good people, reinforcing our belief in our own well-being.
Remember, that feeling of being overwhelmed is like an alarm telling us that something's not quite right in our lives. And it's important to know that we have the power to bring balance back into our lives. Almost everyone goes through moments of feeling like things are spinning out of control.
