Where Does the Time Go?

Well it sure has been a minute since my last post, hasn't it?
When I put this website up originally, I had big plans for it. I had intended to make it into a business to leave my daily 9 to 5 grind behind. Well, you know what they say about making plans...we make them and God just sits back and laughs and laughs.
That's what happened to me. Soon after the site went up, I received a job offer, which entailed moving to a new city. It was a great job and I got to buy a home - which was so exciting. I started my new job in February 2020 and literally a month later, the world shut down due to the pandemic.
What a crazy, crazy time it has been. The entire world was turned inside out. For me, personally, 2020 and 2021 were two of the happiest years of my life - for the most part. 2022 my life was not just turned upside down, it felt like it was put in a blender at high speed and then tossed right in the trash.
That I am even here to write this is a miracle...a REAL miracle. I'll tell you all about it as we go along, but I feel as though living through what I have, and rising above it all - that my experience and insight might be helpful to someone else. That is my hope.
I posted some things on my personal Facebook page and on my LinkedIn account, but those didn't really seem the right places for the content I was sharing. I feel like this is "home" now - where I will share everything...the good, the bad and the ugly. If everything I have been through can help someone else navigate or avoid their own trauma - then it will all have been worth it.
Full disclosure - I know absolutely NOTHING about running a website. There are things I would like to do but haven't quite figured it out yet. Even though I would like to somehow monetize this thing (I don't know how to do that either!) it will never be at your expense. It won't become a subscription site. I may post links to books/products which I might receive a commission on (if I can figure THAT out) if you purchase from that link - but, of course, you are under no obligation to buy anything from this site. I will always disclose to you if I am making money from any affiliate link I may post.
I think we can have a lot of fun here. I think we can learn from each other and be a source of strength and inspiration. I think, together, we can all Go Happy Ourselves.
Who's with me? Wanna play?
