Mercury Retrograde?!

I don't know a lot about astrology, but I would like to learn. I do know that we have just come out of a period of Mercury being in retrograde. I know when that happens, we can experience some technical difficulties in our lives...Until this weekend, I never really was paying attention and never really noticed.

Ironically, Mercury left retrograde a few days ago, and while I know we can feel the effects from a few days before to a few days following the move, it was never more present than it was for me today.

I started the day (Sunday) early. I had 3 errands to run and then I was coming home for the rest of the day. My first errand was at Home Depot where I needed to get a key made. I get to the kiosk and the machine is out of order...will be fixed later this week. Okay - on to the next errand.

I head to my bank. I have to make a deposit. There aren't a lot of by bank's branches - the next nearest one is by my office. I get to my bank because that location is right near my final errand. I kid you not - the ATM is out of service! It was Sunday, so I didn't have the option of going inside. Oh well, on to my final errand of the day.

I head into the market. I have to pick up some things for work tomorrow. I do my quick shopping and head to the check out. This market is very popular in the neighborhood and it's the weekend - the busiest days. I have never been in there when there are less than 5 cashiers working...usually 7 or 8 are at the registers. Today - there was only ONE - and she was assisting the person in front of me who was a Door Dash shopper and had SIX orders to process! I found my way to the (very minimal) self-checkout, figured my way through that (not easy) and headed home.

On my way home, there apparently was a run scheduled in the neighborhood and the road was blocked off...three lanes down to one and everyone had to merge in...okay delayed again - but no biggie. I turn on to the street leading to my condo parking lot, and even though there are sidewalks, this person decides he wants to walk in the middle of the road. I am behind him, and there is another car coming towards me. Neither one of us can move and this guy is oblivious. The other driver and I eek past each other. Him pulling onto the grass and me pulling as close to the parked cars as possible...when I pulled into a parking spot, I took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness I'm home.

I load my packages into the wagon and head for the building. I get inside only to find out that two of our three elevators are out of order! What?!?! At this point I started looking for hidden cameras because I thought I was being pranked. I was so happy to get inside my door. I recorded the incident on Tik Tok before I sat to write this post...when I sat down to type...half way through my post, yep, you guessed it. Technical issues forced me to reload and I lost everything I had just typed. You can't make this up.

When they say Mercury is going retrograde - you better believe them! Add time to your commute. Don't wait until the last minute to do something. Back up EVERYTHING!!
