Do Not Disturb
This week, I want you to be on “Do Not Disturb” It’s time to get real.
Today is Monday. It’s the first day of the last week of the last month of the first half of 2023. After this week, we have 6 more months to accomplish the goals we set for ourselves in the beginning of the year. Have you even started yet? December will be here before you know it – look how fast these first six months have gone!
So here’s what we’re going to do…you are going to hang up that Do Not Disturb sign – either literally or figuratively. You are on Do Not Disturb this week. This week, I want you to focus only on you. On your goals. On your vision for yourself, for your life. Do the goals/resolutions you set in January still feel right? It’s okay to change and re-direct. What’s not okay is to give up. Just keep going.
Do Not Disturb. Now is the time. If not now, when? If not you, who? Decide what you want and take a step – any step – it doesn’t matter how small or how insignificant you think that step might be in the scheme of things. A decision is a step. You want love? Make a call/send a text. You want a new job? Start by updating your resume – or if that is too much, scroll through LinkedIn or Indeed and look at the jobs available. You want to start a business? Start your business plan or join a mastermind group for entrepreneurs. Want to lose weight and get healthy? Just start. Have one less teaspoon of sugar in your coffee. One less soda. Go for a walk after dinner.
Do Not Disturb. Get rid of all distractions this week. We’re coming into a holiday weekend – have all the fun you want then, but this week…Focus on You. NOW is the time. You still have time to make 2023 a great year.
